About the Class

The Class of 1996 is a not-for-profit fraternal and charitable alumni organization run by volunteers. Anyone who graduated from the university in 1996 or so should consider themselves a part of the class. However, dues-paying members allow us to do keep the organization going, and to keep members of the class connected to one another and the university.
One of the most important class activities is reunion in June every 5 years. The class also engages in fundraising—every year the class supports a deserving undergraduate student with the Class of ‘96 scholarship. In 2002, class officers drew up a constitution to codify the governance of the organization, and the roles and responsibilities of officers. The Class of ‘96 Constitution can be found here.
